What is how to silence apple watch?

Here's how to silence your Apple Watch:

There are several ways to silence your Apple Watch:

  • Cover to Mute: This feature allows you to quickly silence an incoming call or alert by simply covering the watch face with your palm for three seconds. Make sure the feature is enabled in the Watch app on your iPhone under Sounds & Haptics.

  • Silent Mode (Mute): Swipe up from the bottom of the watch face to open Control Center. Tap the bell icon to toggle Silent Mode on or off. When enabled, you'll still receive notifications, but you won't hear any sounds. You'll only feel the haptic feedback (vibrations).

  • Theater Mode: Also found in Control Center (swipe up from the watch face), Theater Mode silences all sounds and prevents the screen from lighting up when you raise your wrist. This is ideal for situations where you don't want to be disturbed or distract others with the watch's screen.

  • Do Not Disturb: Swipe up from the bottom of the watch face to open Control Center. Tap the moon icon to turn Do Not Disturb on or off. You can schedule Do Not Disturb on your iPhone settings.

  • Turn off Push Notifications: In the Watch app on your iPhone, you can customize which apps are allowed to send notifications to your watch. If you disable notifications for a specific app, you won't receive any alerts (sound or haptic) from that app on your watch. Find this setting under Notifications.

  • Lower Alert Volume: If you do not want to completely silence the device you can simply lower the alert volume of the watch from the Watch app on your iPhone under Sounds & Haptics.

  • While on a call: If you receive another phone call while already on a phone call on your Apple Watch, tap the mute button to silence the incoming call.
